2009 Diamond Classic Showcase

       The 2009 summer season is well underway.    Todd Smith leads the team through its competitive schedule, while Mike Murphy and his staff oversee team training.    This year's summer schedule is as interesting as it is challenging.

    In addition to some local and regional tournaments, the 18U squad has attended showcase events in Sacramento and Santa Ana, and will be heading to San Diego for the USABF Senior World Series.   Rounding out its competitive schedule are games with many of our most competitive local programs.   This year's blend of rigorous training and challenging competition is making for a great season.   I hope those of you selected for this year's program are enjoying it.

     The 18U team's schedule is posted.   As tournaments, local games, practices and other events are added, the schedule will be updated.    You should make it a point of checking the on-line schedules frequently.

     The Diablo Valley Patriots 18U team is now accepting applications for the Fall/Winter season.   If you are not a member of the Patriots, but would like to be considered for our program, please complete our Player Questionnaire or contact me.  I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
